This Loving Christmas Menu is loaded with classic flavors and created especially for this day and age. An age in which we collectively decide to put plants on our plates and love, honor and protect all beings great and small.

The Golden Christmas Soup surpasses the average bisque and with its rich palette of flavors and beautiful colors, your guests will certainly feel warmly welcomed.

The Green Cabbage Roulade is a showstopper for sure. This mighty green guy shows that you only have to hunt for a cabbage on the land to put an epic roast on the Christmas table. Serve the roulade with fried mushrooms and accompany with a delicious sweet mashed potato and a tasty green salad. We served it with fresh spinach, baked in a generous dash of olive oil with lots of garlic, sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and roasted pine nuts.

And for the cherry on the soy whipped cream this gorgeous Chocolate Mousse Tart offers you a one-way ticket to vegan wonderland. With a shot of espresso that ensures you stay awake for a while to enjoy!

We have let our minds wander in regards to the new reality we are finding ourselves in and to say it with the words of @zachbushmd (check out his posts!) we 'strongly believe there is too much bandwidth of the collective human consciousness spent on this topic’ so we are not gonna add anything to that besides a few things:

1. @thedutchweedburger just posted an amazing article on their blog that to us says it all

2. we are not quite sure if we will be able to continue our friday posts during the coming period, but will do our best to offer easy and delicious plant based inspiration, maybe through our stories

3. because we see a lot of sadness on social media right now we thought this recipe might cheer you up a bit. Just because a smile can do so much for yourself, your body and the world around you.

We created these Pupcakes in service of @worldanimalprotectionnl and you can find the recipe via their website (link in bio) in Dutch. If you need English, Google is your friend ;-). These vegan puppy dogs are worth a translation.

Although we are still in the middle of the winter, it feels like spring every other day and that is why we felt a craving for a light and crispy curry stuffed with leafy greens and fresh flavours. And yes, we know we promised over at MAN.EAT.PLANT. never to do a bowl of green food on a white background. But given the fact that we aren't crazy about (even our own) rules and conventions we did a delicious bowl full of green food on a light background anyway. If you’ve ever been to country's like Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico you probably know this comfy corn staple food. It’s a cornflour patty (in between bread and pancake) and you can eat it with all kinds of toppings like avocado, vegan cheese and plant meat. We made this avo-carnitas variety which is utterly delicious! You can use our pulled mushroom or pulled jackfruit recipe, both are delicious!
